The DPO Academies prepare faculty or staff to design DPO courses and/or to teach courses with those designations. The Academies are available in three formats: a synchronous in-person session offered both in-term and during summer, and an asynchronous Ecampus format. All participants will receive a stipend upon completion of the Academy.
The DPO Academy is required for all faculty who are (re)designing a DPO course for submission as part of the new Core Education curriculum, and any member of the teaching team for DPO courses (including instructors of record and recitation instructors). Faculty who will be teaching DPO courses in a synchronous in-person class should take the synchronous in-person Academies. Faculty who teach asynchronous Ecampus courses should take the asynchronous Ecampus Academies.
